2025-26 CBSE Syllabus Released for Class 9, 10, 11, and 12 PDF: Currently, there are a total of 30,770 schools in India that are affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). All these institutions adhere to a uniform syllabus as prescribed by the CBSE. For the academic year 2025–2026, the CBSE has introduced new curriculum guidelines for classes 9, 10, 11, and 12. It is mandatory for all private schools affiliated with the CBSE to implement this new syllabus framework during the ongoing academic year.

All connected schools can now access the completed curriculum for the academic year 2025–2026 from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Exam syllabi, learning objectives, suggested teaching methods, academic material, and assessment systems tailored to grades IX through XII are all covered in detail in this curriculum. In order to guarantee that subjects are taught in accordance with the established syllabus, schools must closely adhere to the guidelines outlined in the curriculum. To enhance students’ conceptual comprehension and ability to apply knowledge practically, the curriculum places a strong emphasis on integrating multidisciplinary approaches, competency-based examinations, and experiential learning.
CBSE Secondary (9-10) Curriculum 2025-26
The CBSE Secondary School Curriculum’s main features include: With an emphasis on social, intellectual, and physical development, the CBSE curriculum seeks to support students’ overall growth. Stress the value of real-world experiences and give constructivist methods precedence over rote memorization. Establish both broad and detailed objectives for instruction and evaluation to guarantee competency-based learning and skill development.
Encourage the application of knowledge and abilities to tackle practical problems. Encourage ‘Constitutional Values’ through educational programs that are focused on values. Develop 21st century skills such as multilingualism, financial literacy, digital literacy, health and wellness, road safety, citizenship education, life skills, and disaster management. Include environmental education in a variety of courses for students in grades 1 through 10.

CBSE Curriculum Implementation by School Curriculum Committee: The Board mandates that all schools form a School Curriculum Committee with instructors from every subject.
