FYJC 2025-26 Admission Starts in Maharashtra: Online Form Submission Begins! (7.6.2025 Wednesday): The Maharashtra Government has officially initiated the online application procedure for First Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions for the academic year 2025-26. Commencing today, May 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM, Revised 2- on Dated 07/06/2025 Round One – Display of vacancy for Regular Round 2 (including Quota seats in Junior Colleges) – 5th July 2025. Students throughout the state can enroll for Round 1 of Class 11 admissions via the newly established centralized portal: mahafyjcadmissions.in.

During the registration process, applicants can list up to ten colleges as their preferences. The new system aims to streamline the admission procedure and ensure transparency and efficiency in seat allocation across the state.

This year, the state government has introduced a single-window Central Admission Process (CAP) for FYJC admissions, replacing the previous decentralized system. The admissions will be merit-based and conducted entirely online. The CAP system will cover eight administrative divisions: Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Sambhajinagar, Amravati, Nagpur, Kolhapur, and Latur.

Stream-wise Seat Availability for FYJC 2025-26:

  • Science: 8,52,206 seats
  • Commerce: 5,40,312 seats
  • Arts: 6,50,682 seats

Students and parents are advised to visit the official website and complete their registration well before the deadline. For detailed instructions, eligibility criteria, and important dates, visit mahafyjcadmissions.in.

03 July 2025		1. Students to click (Proceed For Admission) if ok with allotted Junior College 2. Reporting at allotted collegefor documents verification and payment of prescribed feesetc. & Confirmation of admission in the allotted Junior College by the Student.
3. If a student doesn’t want to take admission in the allotted Junior College should participate in next round.
4. Admission Confirmation, Rejection & Admission cancellation at College Login.
5. Student Registration with their preferences filling will continue for new applicant for NEXT ROUND if only consent given by the student.
Notes :-
If a student wants to take admission in the allotted Jr. College, then click on ‘Proceed for Admissionin Student Login, upload required documents and then confirm admission in the allotted Jr. College.
If a student doesn’t want to take admission in the allotted Jr. College can wait for further round. BUT  Students who have been allotted to his first preference, it is compulsory to take admission in the allotted Jr. College.
If such students failed to take admission or been rejected, they will be blocked for a consequent Regular Round 2 to 4 and can only be considered open for all round onwards.
If a student wishes to cancel his/her confirmed admission, can request concerned Jr. College for this and get the admission cancelled. Such students who have cancelled their admissions will also be restricted for a consequent Regular Round and can only be considered after the next round.

Instructions:

  1. Students who have confirmed their admission in any Jr. College through CAP or QUOTA, the admission process is completed for
    him/her.
  2. Registration fees to be paid via only through Digital Payment modes.
  3. Every stakeholder should follow the time limit given (as per schedule) for any activity.
  4. Zero Round- forManagement/In-House Quota/Minority Quota admissions will be 12-06-2025 to 14-06-2025.
