Uttar Pradesh RTE Admission 2025-26: The Basic Education Department of Uttar Pradesh has initiated the online registration and application process for pre-primary class admissions in private schools, in accordance with the Right to Education (RTE) Act. Parents are invited to submit their applications at rte25.upsdc.gov.in, with a direct link provided below.
According to the established timeline, the deadline for the first round of applications is December 19. Verification of application forms will occur at the district level from December 20 to 23, followed by a lottery to select candidates on December 24, with the merit list for this round being published on December 27. The RTE admissions for the 2025-26 academic year will be conducted in four rounds, with additional schedules for the second, third, and fourth rounds available.
Under the RTE Act of 2009, 25 percent of seats in pre-primary classes at private schools are reserved for children from disadvantaged and weaker sections of society. The department has announced that classes for students admitted under the RTE Act will commence on April 1, 2024, in line with the academic calendar for the upcoming year.

Necessary action should be taken to facilitate the process of preparing the necessary documents for applying such as income certificate, residence certificate, caste certificate, disability certificate etc. at the district level, tehsil level and block level and the concerned department / agency should be directed to resolve the problems related to the child’s birth certificate and the parent’s income certificate on a priority basis at the time of online application.
