Residence Address Proof for Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2025-26: Children who live close to the relevant KVS school have been given an opportunity by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. In order to be admitted to any Kendriya Vidyalaya, this need must be met. There are two categories for the distance between a home and a school:
Area Classification: For large cities and urban areas (including all district headquarters and metropolitan regions), the distance should be within a 5 km radius, whereas for all sites not included in the first group, the distance should be within an 8 km radius.

Proof of residency is a requirement for all candidates. Furthermore, subject to confirmation, a parent’s written self-declaration about the distance might be acceptable.
