Jharkhand RTE Admission 2025-26 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility under the RTE Act is extended to applicants whose family’s total annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs 72,000. This provision is applicable to the entry level of non-aided private schools (excluding minority institutions) situated within a radius of 1 km, 3 km, and ultimately up to 6 km from the applicant’s home. The age criteria for admission to nursery/LKG range from 3 years and 6 months to 4 years and 6 months, while for class 1, the age must be between 5 years and 6 months to 7 years. The cutoff date for assessing age eligibility is 31st March 2025.

Application for the Registration of students for the admission in Private Schools for session 2025-2026 for socially and economically weaker sections!
- A valid mobile number associated with an Indian SIM card is required.
- A digital or scanned photograph of the child applying for admission (JPEG format, maximum size of 500KB).
- A certificate verifying the child’s age, specifically a birth certificate issued by the appropriate authority responsible for birth registrations.
- Aadhaar Cards for both the father and mother.
- Certificates for ST/SC/OBC (NCL)/EWS/BPL categories.
- An income certificate indicating an income of less than ₹72,000, issued no earlier than August 2024 by the relevant authority.
- If the child resides with any blood relatives, a utility bill (electricity or gas), bank passbook, or driving license in the name of the guardian must be provided.
- A residential certificate issued by the appropriate authority is also required.
- Applicants must be residents of Bokaro District.
