AICPIN for February 2025 Press Release: The Labour Bureau has published the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPIN) today, April 1, 2025, for the month of February 2025. The index has decreased by 0.4, resulting in a value of 142.8.

Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (2016=100) – February 2025: The Labour Bureau, a subordinate office of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, compiles the Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers on a monthly basis. This is based on retail price data collected from 317 markets across 88 key industrial centers in the country. The index for February 2025 is presented in this press release.

In February 2025, the All-India CPI-IW experienced a decline of 0.4 points, resulting in a value of 142.8 (one hundred forty-two point eight). The year-on-year inflation rate for February 2025 was recorded at 2.59%, a decrease from 4.90% in February 2024. Click to view the Press Release in PDF.
