आईआईएम अहमदाबाद प्रवेश 2025: चयन मानदंड और प्रक्रिया
IIM Ahmedabad Admission 2025: For graduates of various fields who want to pursue a career in management, IIM Ahmedabad (IIMA) offers a two-year Post-graduate Programme in Management (PGP) as a full-time residential study.
Admission to IIM Ahmedabad in 2025 is mostly determined via entrance. This institution is well-known for its flagship PGP (also known as MBA) program, which is a two-year, full-time, residential program that admits students based on a legitimate CAT score. The CAT percentile for IIM Ahmedabad has risen to 99.6 in previous years, demonstrating the difficulty of admission to this university. Every year, when CAT registrations open, the IIM-A admission cycle for PGP begins.
In addition to PGP, IIM A provides further postgraduate and doctoral management degree programs. Course-specific entrance tests are used to screen candidates for these programs, and the shortlisting process typically includes a Personal Interview (PI) round. Admission to all courses at IIM Ahmedabad is determined by the results of a variety of entrance exams, which are followed by additional requirements.

Eligibility for IIM Ahmedabad Admission
The applicant is required to possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, this requirement is relaxed to 45%. The degree must be from a university established by an act of the central or state legislature in India, or from other educational institutions recognized by an act of Parliament or deemed to be a university under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
Alternatively, the candidate may hold an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent must involve at least three years of education following the completion of higher secondary schooling (10+2) or its equivalent.
The percentage achieved in the bachelor’s degree will be determined according to the practices of the institution or university from which the degree was obtained. If the candidate has received grades or CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence will be based on the certification provided by the respective institution or university. Should the institution or university lack a conversion scheme for CGPA to equivalent marks, the equivalence will be calculated by IIMA by dividing the obtained CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result by 100.
Applicants who are sitting for their final year bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification examination, as well as those who have met their degree requirements and are pending results, are permitted to apply. Such applicants must provide a certificate from the Principal, Head of the Department, Registrar, or Director of the Institution or University, affirming that they are currently in their final year or awaiting final results, and that they have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) based on the latest grades or marks available.
It is compulsory for a final year student who has been provisionally admitted to submit their marksheet and degree certificate from the final year bachelor’s degree examination, which must occur on or before June 30, 2025, including any supplementary exams, to qualify for admission to the Post-graduate Programme (PGP) for the 2025-27 Batch. The deadline for submitting the marksheet and certificate is December 31, 2025. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in the automatic cancellation of provisional admission. IIMA will not permit any candidate to enroll in its PGP if they do not complete all requirements for their bachelor’s degree by June 30, 2025.
